2 weeks ago I broke down with wife and our dog in the car 4 miles from home. Phoned AA at around 3.15pm and finally car recovered at 11.50pm. Took over 8 1/2 hours!! At one stage I was recovery might not be until early hours of the morning!! Thought this might be a one off situ but perhaps not!
The setvice is a disgrace, the company is full of young people who do not seem to have ability of making a sound judgment and only follow the protocol. I spent all day on the phone from morning till evening in order to receive the service I deserve (to recover my vehicle as it broke down and have it back home). Finally this was granted which should have been done in first place. The day was over but I wondered if the "rigma" I was put through was worth it bearing in mind that I am 85 years old and a member ot the AA for over 47 years.
As an 83 old woman I have been treated with disrespect and ignorance.
