For the last five years I have had a great service and been very happy with Virgin Media.

However, I have come renew my contract at the end of a fixed term period and I have never seen anything quite like it. Nobody seems able to tell a straight story. I have my Pre Contract Agreement documents and I would like to proceed but nobody seems able to actually get the agreement in place.

Is there anybody from Virgin in the UK who can help me please I would be most grateful please? Email me @ richardstringer65@gmail.com

Virgin have lied and mislead me at every turn for months on end, their indivdual departments refuse to talk to each other to resolve problems and will actively blame each other for mistakes rather than try to come to a resolution. It was 2 months of missed appointments and lies before they quietly pretended they had never heard of me, so I tried again, another 2 months of lies, and now I have completely given up on them but they refuse to let me cancel the contract until I have been connected and paid the first bill. Their cancellation dept will only attempt to convince me to stay with Virgin and then say they can't do it anyway and I have to talk to installations, Installations say they can't cancel anything and only cancellations dept can help me. I found this page because I now need to contact them in writing to cancel my contract and claim through CISAS compensation scheme for 5 missed appointments and 4 months without service.

I am not impressed with Virgin's service. For the third time they are cutting service during the day time when people are working from home. Response to this issue (third time) is unacceptable. The potential loss in money is £950 for an online course already paid for. Virgin seem unconcerned! It's a scandalous way to run a company and no consideration to their customers who pay their wages.

they trap their customers with such deliberately hostile and manipulative tactics, each time i've told them that i'm struggling for money and that my service is nowhere near what i've signed up for they just try to trap me in a more expensive and longer contract, especially if i say i need to leave. such evil and heartless business practices. so overpriced. can't believe i stayed with you for over 15 years. the thousands of pounds i've wasted is heartbreaking.

Terrible customer service engineer cut my tv aerial so left with no tv cant get anyone to help when did get to speak to a managet was told to deal with it myself an virgin would just credit my account the cost to replace main aerial on roof but i would then have to call up to get credit applied wish i never changed ovwr now

To change a piece of severed cable to get broadband working will take a month and a half. Virgin customer service is abysmal. No one appears to use any form of initiative but sick to some script. After 12 years I am voting with my chequebook and advising my network to give Virgin a wide berth

I have been waiting for installation since early December :( when they arrived to find old cables which needed replacing. They cancelled my appointment on Monday 10 Jan, came today, and guess what, the job had been scheduled wrongly and the old cables have still not been changed. Been onto overseas call centres for 1.5 hours - I am on the verge of going with another company. Virgin Media should be ashamed of their communications and organisation - the worst I have come across. The only reason I am using them is for their internet speed - nothing else at all - plus I am paying for an 02 mobile sim I don't even want in order to reduce my monthly charge for TV/Internet/Broadband by £30 a month.
Will be in touch with senior management soon. Come on Virgin get your act together. I would rate 0 stars but it won't let me!

Shocking. Never works cancelled with thirty days notice but they took £100.50 out of my account even though id left them and they are still asking for a further £46.00 two months later even though i have had new provider for two months . Never return messages. Nothing worked . Shocking customer service . Loyal customer for nearly 15yrs and now theyre stealing from me. Will never return to them. They have no loyalty or customer satisfaction. Really really disappointed in last couple of years given them chance after chance, and they steal from me as a reward.
