I had a problem with a staff member at Scotts Menswear in Glasgow Fort who attacked me for no reason at all. They called, got my information, came over to my house, and went over the law and how it all operates. They sacrificed their lives for us, and they couldn't have been more polite or professional. We apologise. Yes, you do get bad jobs, like any other job. However, I've never come across a terrible policeman. Godspeed, unsung heroes.
I was a silent cynic of the police when I was younger because of the preconceptions and attitudes of older people. People's faith in uniforms has undoubtedly been damaged by the occurrences at the London Met. Having dealt with four pairs of bobbies over a claimed neighbour issue and the complainant, I must state that the current officers and 101 personnel truly exemplify the best among us, doing our utmost for the good of all. With respect. Hawick. 50 years.
