Opened an account, deposited money, placed bets, won a little....then WH froze my account and expect me to send them photo Id, bank statements and other personal info to unfreeze the account. Blatant invasion of privicy. I think I will have to wrire off the money as I will not comply to their demands. Absolute joke and zero customer service.
William hill have installed new electronic printers in my local shop in Park Lane Aintree, its been a nightmare for the staff and customers, last week it cost me £150: no reply from my complaint.
The CEO is failing his customers.
Useless company. Received email welcoming me to William Hill. Contacted them through live chat to say I had not opened an account and therefor was this not fraud or a scam. Received reply saying they had info an account was opened using details that were not mine. Stupid as the welcome was sent to me on my email address. Replied again advising the situation, my name, my email but the account was not opened by me so a fraud or scam? Received another reply stating they value my privacy so they have opted me out of any future communication but the fund balance will remain intact on the account. If I require any further assistance I should let them know. Tried calling the number on this page but continually busy. Seeing as they cannot grasp simple English, react to the word fraud or answer a telephone I would be very careful about anything online with this company. If you are concerned or something goes wrong I doubt you will get anywhere.
