I took my mint condition PS4 to the Penzance branch as it had no use in my house, and I thought others would benefit from a second hand price tag. They told me to leave for 40 mins while it was checked. Onmyreturn they claimed it couldn’t read disks (despite them playing call of duty on it) and said that the controller was faulty.
When I returned home the PS 4 worked perfectly but they had taken my Ethernet.
However, on closer inspection I noticed they had returned a controller that was not mine. It had a sticker underneath and the L1 button was broken. I can not physically brake a left sided button due to disability. When we tried to return it diplomatically saying it must have been a mistake they became obnoxious and rude.
All in all, the only thing I received from the whole experience is a broken controller. I will never shop there again and I have advised people not to on Twitter.
Just got back from a shop in Oxford Templars Square, OX4 3UZ, where I spent 4 hours of my working day in the shop
First they said they couldn't test my macbook because the charging cable wasn't new, I went to get a new one, then because I hadn't deleted some account from it, when asked how I could delete an account on a macbook that wouldn't switch on, they nodded their mane like stupid donkeys and said they couldn't help me in this shop and I had to take it back to where I bought it in London, from Oxford to spend the rest of my working day on it,
I bought a laptop at full price from your shop and was assured that I could take it under warranty to any other CEX shop, but when I had to do it, they have different franchises, and you have to be able to delete accounts on your laptop without turning it on.
Fucking hell, that's the worst customer service I've ever seen.
Wakefield Springs branch. No organisation in this branch. Phone bought from them 6 weeks ago went to upgrade, they said could not take the one bought 6 weeks ago, as something wrong with the pixels, told them it was still under guarantee from them. And reply was the guarantee does not cover the issue with the phone. The company is going downhill fast. Which is a shame, have used them for years but today they have lost a customer.
