Unfortunately another dreadful thing is that I traded in DVDs and Games twice and only got £2 or under for each trade. Due to a thing called Bulk Discount which I lost £7.50 cause of it

Bulk Discount is basically a stunt that they pull to steal monetary value from your trade

I have told many people not to shop with you again and they won’t comeback til I say

I was charged £10 for a secondhand 3DS AC lead. I later foumd out that Amazon sell new ones for £5. So the Torquay branch doubled the price. Not happy. I have had problems im the past with this shop because i was sopd a IPAD that when i turned it on at home it didnt work properly and the toich screen didnt work properly. If i new that CEX was like this i wouldnt of gone anywhere near this shop. I wont be going in their again and if anubody asks me about that shop i will tell them exactly what i think of it.

Amd ryzen to have constant blue screen errors, and ram not work at all,



Further inspection there was no bent pins, I suspected motherboard



Brought to pc Belfast computer services they checked and had the exact same issue with the cpu not allowing past bios while installed but other cpus work absolutely fine they also didn't see any bend cpu pins, left it to



Newtownabbey branch to get checked under warranty even tho it was in less than 48hrs no less he looked at it said give them a hour or two,



Came back the next day to see nothing was tested as the cpu was bent, I checked it to see clear evidence something was dropped on it not to mention fact it was just lying on shelf mixed in untop other things not how cpus should be kept, but evey corner is beyond repair the pins are serverly damaged and now I was told they can't do nothing and have contact a email team which has now took 4 days I've also requested video footage of the store for duration in there care before I open a small claims,

So went to the white rose store to trade in a sega mater system 2 boxed complet console and games spent over 2hours in there the staff couldnt not find any of the items in the beginning to give me price then in the end they lowballed me at £23 credit which is a joke then they have defaced all the boxes with testing stickers be for they have even given me a price the staff dont know what they are doing and was a bad customer experience i wouldnt even give it 1 star 0 out of 5 for me

Just been to MK Central Store , big queue plenty of staff in the store just walking around don’t bother about people waiting, done plenty of pictures if any of the head office is interested but very disappointed

I placed an order last year and it still hasn’t come

Went to the Edgware branch with desktop PC, manager really unhelpful, didn’t want to test the item and complained he needed other leads. Returned with VGA leads and he said they would check in a day or so. He couldn’t get it working (a lie) as it was wiped and clean to power on. Came home, worked perfectly. Sold to another independent shop for cash, so actually made more then the voucher. Avoid.

I took my mint condition PS4 to the Penzance branch as it had no use in my house, and I thought others would benefit from a second hand price tag. They told me to leave for 40 mins while it was checked. Onmyreturn they claimed it couldn’t read disks (despite them playing call of duty on it) and said that the controller was faulty.
When I returned home the PS 4 worked perfectly but they had taken my Ethernet.
However, on closer inspection I noticed they had returned a controller that was not mine. It had a sticker underneath and the L1 button was broken. I can not physically brake a left sided button due to disability. When we tried to return it diplomatically saying it must have been a mistake they became obnoxious and rude.
All in all, the only thing I received from the whole experience is a broken controller. I will never shop there again and I have advised people not to on Twitter.

Just got back from a shop in Oxford Templars Square, OX4 3UZ, where I spent 4 hours of my working day in the shop
First they said they couldn't test my macbook because the charging cable wasn't new, I went to get a new one, then because I hadn't deleted some account from it, when asked how I could delete an account on a macbook that wouldn't switch on, they nodded their mane like stupid donkeys and said they couldn't help me in this shop and I had to take it back to where I bought it in London, from Oxford to spend the rest of my working day on it,
I bought a laptop at full price from your shop and was assured that I could take it under warranty to any other CEX shop, but when I had to do it, they have different franchises, and you have to be able to delete accounts on your laptop without turning it on.
Fucking hell, that's the worst customer service I've ever seen.

Wakefield Springs branch. No organisation in this branch. Phone bought from them 6 weeks ago went to upgrade, they said could not take the one bought 6 weeks ago, as something wrong with the pixels, told them it was still under guarantee from them. And reply was the guarantee does not cover the issue with the phone. The company is going downhill fast. Which is a shame, have used them for years but today they have lost a customer.
