Parcel delivered and left outside our door, unfortunately it wasn't for us. Driver too lazy to ring bell and wait til we got there.
my parcel was to be delivered on 11/3/2023 we were in at the time, the driver turned up took a photo of our door did not kock and went away he was seen arriving by our neighbour o tryig to call customer services to get answers all you get is an atomated answering machine tracking says it is now being retured to sender, tis company makes hermes look efficient truly shocking lack of service
14th December ordered for next day delivery.
15th December No delivery
Anyway, next day delivery did not happen.
16th December no delivery.
I tracked the order on 16th where the message was that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. I sat by the doorbell all day and it did not ring. No note was put through our door.
17th December no delivery.
I tracked the parcel again and there was a message saying it would be delivered, by driver “Mladen”, between 1321 and 1421. My wife sat next to the doorbell throughout and it did not ring. No note was placed through the door.
Now, tracking reads “Sorry, we missed you. Your driver Mladen won't be back today but we'll be back Sun 18 December with your parcel”
It follows the driver has not approached our door on either 16th or 17th.
Contrast the message on 16th with that on 17th and it follows the parcel was probably not even on the van on 16th and there was no intention to deliver it on that day.
It seems I am expected to stay at home, next to the doorbell, all tomorrow.
I appear to be expected to sit 3 days, or more, next to the doorbell.
I have tried to contact DPD to complain but of course there is no phone number, and their email system refuses to recognise either my or my vendors email address. I do not believe this is an accident but a deliberate tactic to avoid having to deal with annoying emails from irate customers.
I have had big problems with this service provider in the past and I do not use it for business anymore. I recommend you change too.
