Parcel delivered and left outside our door, unfortunately it wasn't for us. Driver too lazy to ring bell and wait til we got there.

my parcel was to be delivered on 11/3/2023 we were in at the time, the driver turned up took a photo of our door did not kock and went away he was seen arriving by our neighbour o tryig to call customer services to get answers all you get is an atomated answering machine tracking says it is now being retured to sender, tis company makes hermes look efficient truly shocking lack of service

14th December ordered for next day delivery.

15th December No delivery

Anyway, next day delivery did not happen.

16th December no delivery.

I tracked the order on 16th where the message was that it would be delivered that day. It was not delivered. I sat by the doorbell all day and it did not ring. No note was put through our door.

17th December no delivery.

I tracked the parcel again and there was a message saying it would be delivered, by driver “Mladen”, between 1321 and 1421. My wife sat next to the doorbell throughout and it did not ring. No note was placed through the door.

Now, tracking reads “Sorry, we missed you. Your driver Mladen won't be back today but we'll be back Sun 18 December with your parcel”

It follows the driver has not approached our door on either 16th or 17th.

Contrast the message on 16th with that on 17th and it follows the parcel was probably not even on the van on 16th and there was no intention to deliver it on that day.

It seems I am expected to stay at home, next to the doorbell, all tomorrow.

I appear to be expected to sit 3 days, or more, next to the doorbell.
I have tried to contact DPD to complain but of course there is no phone number, and their email system refuses to recognise either my or my vendors email address. I do not believe this is an accident but a deliberate tactic to avoid having to deal with annoying emails from irate customers.

I have had big problems with this service provider in the past and I do not use it for business anymore. I recommend you change too.

Tried 3 times to phone dpd and speak to a manager as i had a crime report number to give them in regards driver fraud and eveyone of there staff refused to put me through or even deal with it.I have now told all my suppliers they will lose my business if they use Dpd.

Driver said I wasn't in, despite speaking to me on phone. He wasn't in my village, never mind my street and the 'photo evidence' of attempted delivery was of a pub in the next village. Now I'm supposed to take another wasted day off work on Monday. Absolutely useless!

Beyond useless and liars, this whole week has been a fiasco, three different items due, received information that the parcel will be delivered on a certain day, yet nothing arrives! Just another note that there's delays in the system. (however nothing mentions it on their site) non withstanding that i've made arrangements for someone to be at the address. NOTE TO SELLERS: I have cancelled two of the orders due to this unacceptable practice, in future if i see dpd as the couriers I will avoid altogether or limit the delivery to a 4 hour time slot.

problem with your service… the man who delivered literally went in to the back off he’s van couldn’t find my order by the looks off it couldn’t be bothered to look properly I took a pic off him to proof I was in I went to open my window and he saw me never seen someone move so fast to get back in he’s van went off I’m not happy about this it’s saying I have to collect it now and I’ve had no email for my code to get it at collection point has this been lost or given to the wrong house !!! And the way he was throwing the boxes around at the back of the van was discussing!!! And your customer service is shocking

I received a text and email yesterday, mentioning that the driver wasn't able to deliver my parcel and that it was sent to my nearest shop. The shop they mentioned in the email was two buses away for me. I went there that same evening and was told by the store owners that the parcel wasn't there and that sometimes the drivers are lazy. She said a driver may have picked it up again and taken it to another location. I didn't receive any communication from DPD that the parcel was sent somewhere else. I made the journey there for no reason and spent money on getting an Uber back home as it was evening time by the time I was able to get there. I rang DPD this morning and was told it's been sent back to the sender. I asked who the sender was and was told a company name I don't recognise. The person I spoke to said she wasn't able to contact the sender for me and didn't have their details. I don't know where my parcel is and I don't recognise the name of the company she mentioned as the sender company. I asked her for the DPD Head Office address as I wanted to complain and she said she doesn't know the address.

Absolutely terrible service all the way from driver to corporate office !.
Driver delivered to wrong address. Wrong recipient gave driver directions to correct address, 500 yards away. Driver took parcel back to delivery hub, why?.
Customer service told me, the correct recipient, that I had to contact the sender to release the parcel from the delivery hub, again why ?.
The only sane agent was a lady in the delivery hub office that used simple common sense !. I only wish I had gotten her name. She deserves promotion while the rest warrant dismissal !.
About 8 'phone calls & goodness knows how many e-mails to various persons all because a driver can't read an address !.
Corporate want a rating or the site will not accept the review, rest assured I would give a minus number if possible because out of 4 deliveries to varying addresses I have lived at, you have managed to mess up all 4. Number 5 is due tomorrow, lets see if you can improve to a +20% score.
