I have been a member of my local leisure facility in Slough, currently 'The Centre' for over twenty years.
Ever since Everyone Active have taken over daily management of site and membership of this facility, everything is projected as beautiful and perfect before you join, but after joining everything is not so active as the name suggests.
Here is a short list of my experiences.
1- When you join, Everyone Active requires you to produce your proof ID documents. This is not a wrong thing, however they take photo copies of it in an open environment with people handling such information more likely to fall into unemployable category. This is evident from the revolving door nature of staff disappearing and new faces in place.
TO top it up, they have difficulty is answering a simple questions as to why they keep blocking access without warning and insisting that member re-produce ID documents again and again and again. Each time they keep taking more copies of documents that are personal and sensitive. This raises a serious question of DATA Protection and DATA Breach. i.e. what happens to copy documents taken when the r very staff who take such copies do not last in the job!
2 - 'The Centre' has been one of the new facilities build by the local council handed over to Everyone Active. The place has been turned into a dump in less than five years. I reckon a chicken farm would run better and be cleaner.
3 - Members are subjected to antiquated rules and subjective to random ID checks. Staff have even claimed to suggest it is a company policy no different to checks carried out by supermarkets with self check out shopping carts or with tap and go credit card payments. Mind you none of them require you to produce Your personal details handled by a third person.
4- Complaints process and procedure is a joke. For a start it never works online. So when you manage to find a time it works and make a complaint that identifies raw issues, shuuu, shuuu shuuu, you can wait for a reply fin neverland kingdom. What is more, the online process is not transparent (you able to get an e-mail copy or a means to save complaint) so you have no means to prove that indeed you did file a complaint. So, when you raise it with members of staff, they have no record of any complaints. ALL IS GOOD WHEN IT DISAPPEARS!
5 - Ask a member of staff to contact head office or to speak to someone at head office or a contact person at head office, and you get the answer we cannot give you that information.
6 - SO the long and short of it is I am now sending a 'Pre Action Conduct' notice as required by law and shall proceed with a claim for wilful neglect and abuse of my personal information and causing me undue harrasement in use of facility for which I have paid 'UP FRONT'
HOPE THIS HELPS SOME ONE TO AVOID GETTING TRAPPED INTO THE HANDS OF SCAMMERS

Two bad behaviour incidents in 2 years (2019 and 2023) is not a coincidence. I don't know what exactly is wrong with these guys, but the senior management must take action and fix it.
2019: Interruption of training by the Saturday gymnastics instructor and insult for... footwear.
2023: Offending manager during the basketball academy lesson in front of other parents and children. It's a pity for the good basketball coach and his efforts.

Have been trying to contact someone from Head Office to explain why Poole dolphin Centre are not allowed to get equipment fixed that has been out of order for over a month.
Poor customer service from the centre and Head office. DO NOT JOIN THE COMPANY!!! They take your money but don't deliver.

What a terrible start, taking over Flitwick Leisure Centre from 1st April 2023 and you said we could book classes on your App from last Saturday 25th. Your App isn't functioning, no one can forward book classes after this Friday. What a shambles. why aren't you communicating the problem/updates with your new customers??

I want to speak to someone in authority to complain about the appalling lack of maintenance at my local Everyone Active Centre. Completing their survey forms is a complete waste of time as nothing changes. The given phone number is not a contact number as you are not offered the chance to talk to anyone. They seem happy to take our money but accept no responsibility for maintenance and cleanliness.

This is not a contact number. The head office seems to have gone out of it’s way to avoid being directly contactable. The staff at my local leisure centre are the problem, so calling them is pointless. They are poorly trained with the IT systems. Everyone active seems to be all about taking the money and avoiding the responsibility.
