I only ever purchase clothes from Jaeger, so when I learned that Jaeger had been acquired by the proprietor of Edinburgh Woollen Mill, I became very worried. I dutifully perused EWM and concluded that, should Jaeger clothing plummet to EWM styles and quality, I would not be purchasing any more. As a precaution, I have been storing up as much as I can. I was also concerned about the reviews that mentioned orders and customer service, but I can honestly say that I haven't had any issues with any recent orders, and any emails or phone calls to customer care have always received a prompt response—usually the same day or the next day at the latest. I hope the Jaeger name and calibre live on.
I adore this shop. Yes, there are a few—well, one in particular—that may be snooty, but the majority are kind and helpful. I adore their clothing, and certainly I will buy something there if I have a lucky month. I always check pricing when I go out, but I really do adore it.
