I felt like my issues and concerns were heard. I didn't feel interrupted, and I received warmth and respect. To get my thoughts in some sort of order, I needed to talk. At the start of the conversation, I was feeling quite powerless, but by the end, I was feeling powerful. It was nice to have someone listen to me without making suggestions or telling me what to do. Compared to if I hadn't called the Samaritans, I felt emotionally stronger and more equipped to handle the challenging scenario that lay ahead. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to me, being understanding of my worries, and helping me.
When I recently contacted them during some trying moments, they were incredible. felt incredibly supported, understood, and listened to. I was apprehensive to get in touch at first because talking to someone about suicide thoughts can be challenging at times. It was simpler to get in touch with them since you could text, phone, or email them. I had the impression that the individual I spoke with truly understood me and was very helpful.
