I recently purchased a round-trip ticket from Newark to Greece, along with quick layovers in Copenhagen and/or Oslo. With the exception of our final journey from Copenhagen to Newark, which was delayed by two hours, all five of the flights arrived on schedule. On the planes and during check-in, the service was excellent. On the transcontinental flights, we were provided with a good meal and breakfast at no additional expense. When we took a budget flight on SAS Go, we did have to pay extra for checked baggage and preferred seating. Overall, though, after reading all of the unfavourable Trustpilot.com ratings, I was pleasantly surprised. My experience led me to believe that this airline is worth trying.
When I arrived in Oslo on an SAS flight in December, it was cancelled, and the next day was rescheduled. They set up a hotel with breakfast and dinner. Support got in touch with me the day after I used their website to submit a claim for compensation, and the money was credited to my account the following day. Without a doubt, I'll fly with them again.
