I buy a good number of books from Waterstones. Usually, they are packaged properly and snugly and arrive in fine shape. The two times I've gotten a damaged copy—which hasn't been shipping-related because the packages have arrived in excellent condition—I've received prompt responses to my emails and have been fairly compensated with either a partial refund (I think the book was out of stock) or a free replacement. I am extremely grateful and content with the customer service assistance. A special thanks to Emma and Barry for their generosity and support!
Due to a small issue with the courier, I regrettably did not receive my item. After I emailed customer service, I got excellent assistance from a very kind worker who reissued my purchase and tracked the cargo till it arrived safely! I'm grateful.
