Today I have made 5 telephone calls to place a £200 order - I have been waiting more than an hour for a call back from Bulk Purchases, so my order has still not been accepted - your staff may enjoy being in your employment but I do not appreciate being kept waiting for more than an hour for a call back - if you are too busy to accept my order then maybe I should take my business elsewhere, your company is obviously not interested.

very disappointed i visited the ramsgate store today to find the majority of ur staff without face masks on and the member of staff on the door busy on his phone and allowing people to enter without masks what is the point of all this if ur store does nothing

Why do most of your branches never water plants what a waste of money stop doing plants if staff cant be bothered watering them this i have notice over every visit to stores way before the pandemic the savings could be put back into reducing price to benefit the consumer's .pleaae stop doing plants just concentrate on DIY products

Complete Kitchen and Bathroom purchase, this is what happened, Staff at New Malden branch lied to secure a sale, promised the earth, Cancelled some items on order and no call to inform, in store no help as Salesman not around until next day, at the time you of sale did not require delivery of Kitchen, on day started to receive choice delivery day, don’t use them for unless, complete and totally useless, B@Q train your staff if you need five star ratings.

Very disappointed as my son bought a fathers day present but due 2 covid 19 he couldnt pay with his pocket money so i paid with my card only for B & Q to email the receipt to my partner, which as we have separate accounts i have no idea how it went 2 his email & also they didnt ask me if i wanted to receive my receipt by email ( i had taken the one instore) so now the surprise had been ruined...thanks B & Q for spoiling a great surprise...so annoyed....

I went to the Crewe store Sunday 7th June 2020 as I needed to exchange some items. The system in place due to coronavirus virus is first class, yes you have to queue up, keeping 2m apart. I have to mention Tracy the lady whom was keeping everyone informed and directing people with total efficency. You have a very good employee their who goes above and beyond. Take care guys and keep up the good work.

I visited your Gloucester store at The Cattle Market yesterday afternoon and was shocked to see a young man cleaning the trolley handles with a small scrunched up piece of blue tissue roll, using the same piece from one trolley to the next and just making a cursory swipe over the top of the handle only. He made no effort to wipe the whole handle and certainly, if any virus had been on a persons fingers and were wrapped to the bottom of the handle, it would have been completely missed.

Unfortunately, as a company you can put many social distancing initiatives in place to protect customers but if your staff are either complacent, do not understand the reason they are carrying out their task, are poorly trained or poorly motivated then your efforts count for naught.

At this moment in time that single young man is your most important member of staff. If he fails in his duty and a cluster of infections can be traced back to your store, his lack of effort will cause personal suffering for customers and untold professional embarrassment and consequence to B&Q.

I suggest some urgent retraining is undertaken, not only in HOW to perform the task but understanding WHY we are doing this task.

With young children, to help them understand why they need to wash their hands thoroughly, we use water-based paint, to help demonstrate how much they need to wash to remove it. If this young man had to clean paint from the handle he might have an understanding of how hard he should be working to guarantee the safety of his customers and prosperity of his company.

Was I queue to enter B&Q Aintree for over an hour in 28 degrees, without even offering anyone any water. Spoke a manager who made excuses, there is no excuse for treating people worst than animals not even Covid 19. I think the managers needs to on health & safety course regarding people's welfare. Will never use B&Q again appalling treat of customers.

We have just moved to Herefordshire and made our first visit to your Hereford store on Friday.

The store had been thoughtfully arranged to keep customers safe.

We were hoping to arrange a kitchen design appointment and were greeted by Angie who explained that you were still working on a system to do this safely. She was extremely helpful, professional and a real credit to your business.

James was also very helpful on checkout.

Will definitely be using this store in future.

Yesterday 4/5/2020 at about 9.15 I went to the Reading store ,after returning home I reviewed my receipt only to find double charging on the first 3 items this amounted to £26 overpayment,I contacted the branch they said to return to the store and not to join the queue outside but go straight to the checkout tills .However on return I was confronted by a young pedantic oaf who did not seem to understand my situation and truculently seemed to suggest I was just trying to jump the queue, I explained that a customer service person had told me to do this,! However he ignored my explanation . Eventually I joined the queue which was in excess of 100 metres . On entering the store I was asked to push a trolley round with my earlier receipt lying in it .A Further queue at the checkout plus 20 minutes waiting as camera evidence had to be seen that I had indeed been overcharged resulted in a refund of the overcharge, an apology was offered for the camera delay. I would point out I am 69 years of age and might be considered at a higher risk than most , if had to go out twice because of an incompetent checkout person in all spending 3 hrs waiting in queues ,and other ,I was not even offered an apology.!
