I used that platform to sell an item, and the customer started a return, saying it was defective. I refused to accept the return, but eBay accepted the client's side even though it was evident from the images that he had purchased the incorrect item. There was some missing original packaging when the item was returned. I gave the buyer terrible feedback, but it ended up being favourable. When I got in touch with them again, they unexpectedly gave me a complete refund and advised me to denounce the dishonest buyer. Very well impressed.
The item I purchased from a Chinese eBay seller had a problem because the instructions were only in Chinese. Eventually, the seller emailed me a picture of the section of the instructions that was in English, and it said that because I have a spinal condition, using the item could be risky for me. In the end, the seller consented to take it back and promised to deposit £25 into my Paypal account to cover the expense of shipping rather than provide me with a returns label. Paypal contacted me, just like Ebay did, but they were unable to locate any records of any money being paid in. I am quite appreciative to Ebay for their help and constant updates on what's going on.
