NO STARS but made you tick at least one!! Over the time limit that I never knew even existed by about 30 minutes ie 2hrs 30 minutes. Got a fine which I have had to pay today so that I dont get a further £35 put on top of this. I have lived in Warrington all my life and been to Matalan on numerous occasions and actually loved shopping there but no longer and I will be telling everyone about the experience I have had to deal with. I hadn't been shopping for a while as trying to watch money like everyone else (which is what brought me to Matalan in the first place as always found them to be good value for money). However not this time as slapped with a £85 fine and £50 if paid early!! What an expensive trip. As I hadn't been there in a while I had a good look around and tried on lots of clothes gearing up for Winter. I also sat in my car outside and ordered clothes online that hadn't been in my size in the store! This was how I got hit with the fine ie nearly 30 minutes over a permitted time that I didnt know even existed. They say there are signs everywhere but this was when it had started going dark and as you are not expecting to have this you dont look out for this anyway. I am the sole earner in our family of 4 and this is a lot of money to have to pay out for just shopping over a 2 hour time limit. I will be writing to the head office about this but again this is the second bad experience when ringing Customer Services - NOT customer services at all. They are rude and call you love and tell you to listen to them when they are telling you there is no head office!! How unethical and bad and it has opened my eyes in to the management mindset of Matalan if this is the set up!!

My daughter has just received in the post a parking fine for being 18 minutes over a 5 hour limit. Ridiculous she and her children were shopping for outfits for a upcoming wedding. Complete outfits. 60 pounds fine outragious if it was me I would be returning the outfits pronto. You have lost my custom becsuse of your short sightedness and greed.

If I could give no stars I would, because that is what you deserve for complete failure to fulfill my order..placed November 28. E mail confirmation stated delivery 1-3 December. Two weeks later and emails to CS resulted in my being told (in a cheery manner) that my order had not yet left the warehouse but I would be informed when it did. Still nothing by this morning so cue phone call to CS when I was told that my order wasn't available but I was being refunded (as it it were a favour!). Today I have had to go out, in adverse weather conditions, spending money I can ill afford on diesel, to try to source replacements at a bricks and mortar store - where the stock situation was dire, no sizes less than XL and almost everything on my list sold out. I will not be shopping with you again and find it no surprise that your company is in financial difficulty. Other stores have managed to meet delivery schedules. Why not you?

Discussed my problem with this automated response and before i could ho any further it said pay a £1desposit and they will refund it ,if you forget its 35 pound a month its a massive con big time Discussed in liverpool company treating people like they just did wow just wow never again matalan l will discourage anyone and everyone to come to your shop

Matalan customer services is the worst I've ever come across. Matalan have stolen my money. I will be contacting PayPal. Shame on you matalan

I purchase items on line , had to return 2 items so took them to the Washington galleries shop. I returned 2 pairs of trousers but somehow they said i returned 1 top and 1 pair of trousers, i even gave them my receipt with items on. Ive emailed customer services twice and messaged them on messenger no reply. There is a big difference in tops and trousers 😡

Matalan have in effect STOLEN MY MONEY. I returned some items to the Boucher Road, Belfast store and the store staff did not refund me for one item. Despite contacting both store and customer services they are ignoring my request that they refund my money. Seems they couldn't give a toss about the customer once they have your money. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. Disgraceful service.

I ordered a sweatshirt and jogging bottoms on 13 /1/21, said they be delivered to store on before 20 /1/21,iam still waiting, I've sent lots of emails to customer care no help, and they still haven't refunded me my money £25,ive been waiting 15 days now sham on you matalan
