Mccolls

How on earth am I supposed to contact head office? The numbers provided are never answered, by anyone. I've tried each option that each number gives me and nothing. I've sent emails and left messages. These are supposedly customer service numbers.... well, where is the service?? This is an intensely frustrating experience.

good for local shop but not very good customer relations should have deliveries with papers first thing in the morning have had to go elsewhere for papers on sundays need to improve customer relations as ALWAYS BEING OPEN FROM 7.00am to 9.00pm

Our local store in our village is second to none. The team of 8 staff work endlessly to ensure that the customers have everything they need, especially during this lockdown. They are so pleasant, polite and respectful, helping everyone, especially the disabled (opening doors, taking heavy bags to vehicles etc). I have to add that it makes my day, going into the village for my daily paper and a few odds and ends, being greeted by a happy member of staff, who go out of their way to help. Thank you to all the staff and the manageress of Llanerchymedd store, exceptional service, exceptional staff x

Royston branch treat be like an aggressive animal because of their incompetence and lack of communication skills , i suffer with severe anxiety disorder and wanted to check that i picked up my 3 voucher, they said i dis according to their CCTV , so I asked to view it too so i could put my mind at rest ,they refused ,which is against the law ,i have every right to view it , go to the gov website, they threw me out and banned me because they felt threatened, i also complained to customer service and they enforced the ban ,lucky i didn't sue you for slander . It really upset me . James should be fired.

Having read the previous review, i felt compelled to write my own, as the complaint before simply pointed out stupid customers, nothing to do with McColls. Our local McColls here on Anglesey has been outstanding , especially during the Covid19 Outbreak. The manageress and all the staff have kept customers spirits up, and are always prepared to help anyone, whether it is looking for an item in the shop, to helping with packing bags, and in the case of the elderly or disabled, opening doors and even taking bags to the car. ( cars are parked directly outside the shop, there is nowhere else to park.). They lead by example, wearing masks and keeping their hands sanitized .

I have done a good chunk of my shopping here, especially during the Covid19, as they are so well stocked, even having items the supermarkets have run out of. Big thank you to each and every one of you, you brighten every day.

Had coronavirus symtptoms for 11 days, got a positive result. Isolated for 10 days from my symptoms starting (which was advised on the results email), on day 11 i went to Mccolls in whitby and got refused service because they didnt want to risk it even though i had followed governement advice and doctors orders. They stood in the doorway refusing me entry and proceeded to spray me with sanitiser and wipe the door down. All in front of my 2 year old son. Fucking appalled to say the least.

If i was you would not shop here my lad get xbox live donot work no one in shop to but it right for 3 days now they are coning you keep out of there shops or it will happen to you

Ivybridge store absolutely disgusting wouldn’t serve me as I was on my phone/call on put on hold ! Manager was belittling me and making a scene.
