I am still waiting for a refund that I purchased 2 months ago! It’s appalling that you cannot speak to anyone except through email, WhatsApp and messages. Even then they don’t answer! Don’t order online from this store ever!!!
I work at the Loughborough store 1852 and feel that the manager Emma Rossiter is never fair in giving out over time to other people and not evenly shared out to the other people that work there. When you look down on the rotas she always gives Troopti extra over time hours and sometimes this is not on the rota but on the side so people do not know she has given her over time on the rota. We all need over time as most of us only work only 20 hours a week. I thought this was equal opportunity as other people can do her job of filling up shelves its not hard. This is favouritism and not equal for a manager to do this. Please look into this.
Recently I visited New Look in Middlesbrough with my 2 young daughters. The store was very busy and there were people from a variety of ethnicities.
I was stood in the queue with 2 women behind me who stood and made degrading comments towards the customers. They questioned whether this was there country and more and made derogatory comments towards the non-white customers.
This went on for several minutes and then I confronted there comments and a vocal exchange took place.
These ladies then asked my daughters separately ‘where they were from’. Obviously I confronted them and called a member of staff and they came and did nothing.
I further went home and reported the incident which is clearly a racist incident and New Look Middlesbrough conveniently told the Police that on the day in question there CCTV wasn’t working.
A very disappointed service from the store in dealing with the situation but when they could of done something they decided to stand by the bigots as there CCTV wasn’t working.
