Every weekend, I travel to London and have to take three different buses to get from Waterloo to Bow and back. I was shocked to see that, when I checked my Oyster account, I was only charged for the first bus each way since the second and third buses in each route are considered to be a continuation of the same journey. I had expected that I would be paid every time I boarded a new bus. Remarkable. I am so appreciative of TFL; it comes in handy every weekend.

I would like to extend my gratitude to Raouf, the customer service representative who worked at the self-service ticket machines at Kings Cross underground station. At many major train stations, I had been unsuccessfully attempting to link my Oyster card with my recently renewed Senior Railcard. At a busy time of day at a crowded tube station, Raouf was really helpful in rapidly connecting the two cards at the self-service machine. He is a tremendous asset to TFL and was incredibly courteous and efficient. Raouf, thank you.
