I have had to give a star as you can not give non. I got my sofa in October, it is April and still, they can not fix a fault with it the next engineer can't come to May and have a look. 6 months and still a sofa that does not work fully. Three times had to take time off work for someone to come around and they only give you an all-day call out. the customer service team are not very helpful and we have had some that have been very rude and unpleasant. wish I had never got a sofa from them and would never recommend DFS to anyone.

Utterly and totally useless. We ordered an armchair and got texted it would be delivered yesterday between 9 am and 12 noon. by 1 pm when it had not arrived I rang customer service. and was told the van had broken down. Then on my next call I was told it was on its way. I rang a total of 7 times and was given various excuses why it was not delivered. These excuses included, "The van has broken down" "You are next to be delivered to" ""someone will ring you" etc etc.
Today I was told that the chair had not been delivered to the dispatch depot. Thus this totally contradicts what I was told yesterday, in short, I was lied to yesterday .

I asked to speak to a Manager but was told I would have to wait 72 hours to get a call back from a Manager. To have to wait 72 hours to speak to a Manager is in my view totally unacceptable and is obviously deployed by DFS as a blocking mechanism as it would appear that the Customer disservice department are employed as gatekeepers to protect management from having to deal with the flack from their own gross incompetence. I will not be using DFS again.

I hope this letter gets seen by the chairman or senior management of DFS, the customer service and shop staff are failing in the customer service department. We purchased a 3 piece suite and delivery went okay, but then we started to notice faults in the product, which should have been picked up by quality control in the factory before delivery to customer. The aftermath of this is the incompetence of customer service and the manager of the store to rectify the faults on the furniture, even after numerous calls and visits from repair people, using our lounge as a workshop and using our electricity to try, I say try to repair the faults, which have not been done to our satisfaction, and DFS are reluctant to replace the suite, even though we have started paying for it. We are frustrated at the lack of communication from DFS after numerous phone calls/emails to resolve this issue. We wish we had looked on the DFS site prior to ordering our furniture, to read all the negative reviews from customers and ran a mile, never to return. All I can say is senior management need to get off their backsides and sort out these problems before its too late.

LOST MY CHAIR!!!! WASTING DAYS!!!!! ZERO, ZERO, ZERO. Delivery was first arranged for last Friday. Heard nothing. Waited. Day wasted. Called them and they said chair had been loaded on wrong van. Might deliver next day. Didn't. Then promised Tuesday. On website said delivery arranged. Waited all day. Nothing. Phoned them. They seem to have actually lost the chair. It's not just that – it is the pathetic lack of communication which leads to my wasting so much time. Apparently they're going to call me "within 72 hours". Can they get worse? I imagine they can...

0 stars, if I could. Promised!! Christmas delivery. Eventually got it on 12th January after 2 20 mile trips to go into the branch because I was getting nowhere with customer service. Didn’t have a settee throughout Christmas as the online portal said it was in my local store ready for collection on 20th December, which I was than informed, that this was not the case, and it was a “glitch” in the system, and should not have said that. Still waiting for an explanation regarding delays and no response. Save your money, time, patience, and give someone else your hard earned cash, who would value your custom.

I would give this 0 starts if I could, placed order in August, arranged delievry for 18th December 22, didn't turn up, put in complaint never received call back, contacted multiple social media outlets and emails to try to get hold of someone, finally got hold of somone and was told our furntiure would be deluvered on 17/01 so arranged collection on 16/01, how stupid was I. They collected our sofa and we haven't had ours delivered!! I have two disabled children and no one can tell me where my sofa is!!! they have said they will try to arrange temp furniture but no one has contact me in regards to this yet. I would happily sit outside every DFS store and tell people of my experience so no one has to go through this again. My work has been impacted for me taking time out to wait in for things that haven't arrived and now my young children are impacted by this all because no one can fins a sofa that was ordered 5 months ago!!

I placed order in June at the Droitwich branch . The delivery was to be made to Dorset. On more than occasions I can remember I have given them the correct address and post code. Way back I received an e mail from Droitwich to say this had been updated,but clearly it has not. I cannot believe the total incompetence of this company

UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TOOK MY MONEY 3 MONTHS AGO, HAVE ONLY JUST STARTED TO PROCESS MY ORDER, BEEN CALLING EVERY DAY FOR WEEKS ONLY TO BE TOLD BY INCOMPITENT STAFF THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A NUMBER FOR HEAD OFFICE AND THAT THEY WILL BE IN TOUCH IN 72 HOURS WHICH AFTER A WEEK THEY STILL HAVE NOT. I HAVE GOT LEGAL ADVICE AND WILL BE PURSUING THEM FOR THEFT OF MY MONEY!

I was told I’m the only one who has problem with getting the correct items from DFS. Well I look at their site and see there are many of us. There was me thinking that I’m just unlucky to not get the right item or not get one piece at all. It’s clear that DFS is a sales organisation and don’t care what their reputation for customer service looks like as they never follow up. I bet they won’t even react to this review. They are very fast to ask for your money and haphazard at what and when they deliver. I have asked the Nottingham Giltbrook store to call me back more than 5 times and they don’t bother. I will wait to see if his gets any reaction but I won’t hold my breath…….

Bought corner sofa.colour is not what i ordered on line. Been told that its because of professional photography. Absolutely disgusted. Does not go with all my furniture. Never again
