Awful - money tken and failure to deliver sofa twice now; customer service very very poor with no ownership or responsibility of the problem. DFS are atrocious, buy at your peril

I warn you folks never buy from DFS as they are a con. They take your money and never tell you it takes four months for delivery. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and will never ever buy anything from them again> So be warned, They never reply to emails and customer service are rubbish and tell lies.Sent two letters to head office so far and not had one reply. I hope they do got broke as they are unfit to serve customers and should be out of business years ago,So folks take my warning and if you buy be prepared to wait at least four months for your goods. Once they have your money they never reply. We as pensioners are disgusted at DFS and wish we had never heard of them, a bunch of liars and cheats.So before you buy beware and take my warning.

I bought a sofa from DFS, had to wait 3 months to get it delivered. The sofas turned up the wrong colour and height among other problems. They sent the inspector out after 3 weeks. I was told he would bring the colour swatches to check the colour. He turned up without them. He pushed the 2 sofas together to take a picture. My living room is dark so I went to turn the light on. he said that it takes better without the light on. He measured the sofa and I had to tell him , the seat height should by 45cm. My sofa's seat height measures 39cm. He maintained that this is impossible to be wrong. The reason I measured the sofa, is because I suffer with severe arthritis. This was one thing I checked in the shop, that I could get comfortably up and down of the sofa, which I could. After my sofa was delivered and I was struggling to get up , I measured the sofa, it measures 39cm. The cushions started to sag after 4 days, according to him, every sofa does this. The cost of the sofa's now is nearly over £2.000, not the quality i expected , especially after I paid extra to have memory foam. If they really wanted to resolve the issues, the inspector would have brought the details of the sofa with him. he didn't even have a tape measure. When he went to leave, I asked him, what they were going to do, he said nothing as the colour of my sofa is the correct colour. This is why he didn't want the light on.

Disgusting operation, delivery booked and confirmed but furniture did not arrive. No communication from anyone advising delivery would not happen, 2 days later and still trying to chase order myself but with only kids on end of phone, who frankly are pretty clueless I am getting nowhere. No contact at all from the distribution centre who obviously do not give a monkey's and after multiple calls no one can advise when furniture will be delivered - having spent £4k with this shower to say I am disgusted by the total lack of communication is an understatement

Furniture arrive paid fir a new sofa and got a use sofa delivered! Head office are impossible to contact ive put in multiple complaints yet nothing! This company are a joke and deserve to be on watchdog as just a scam it seems!

Not even worth a 1 star review. Absolute joke of a company - as are Guardsman who provide the sofa "care" - we waited 7 months for our sofas originally after they ordered the wrong sofa and tried to blame it on us when in actual fact it was the salesman's error - now I have been waiting more than 10 weeks for Guardsman to sort a claim which has resulted in us not being able to sit on our own sofa for more than 10 weeks through no fault of our own - to no avail - still can't get it sorted

If i could give this a 0 star rating i would. We have been waiting 1 year for our correct sofa to arrive after they send us the wrong one a year ago!!!! We have paid full for this sofa and have not received the correct one.
Trying to contact DFS is an absolute shamble- saying we would get a call back within 72 hours (LIES)
I am disgusted with customer service. Trying to get through to them on hold for over an hour :(

Our furniture has just arrived and it's wonderful. Kevin and Jamie, who delivered it, are a true credit to your business. Their "Can do attitude" and superb personalities have bought a smile to our faces as Stratford Upon Avon enters Tier 3 ! Well, at least, we can enjoy the next lockdown in comfort. Many thanks DFS.

ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS DFS DO NOT BELIEVE IN COMMUNICATION YOU TAKE THE MONIES AND KEEP THE SOFA AND DO NOT DELIVER EVEN WORSE THEY DO NO COME BACK TO YOU 4 MONTHS KEEP SOME ONE WAITING TO RECEIVE AND NO ONE TURNS UP THE WHOLE DAY THERE IS IS NO ZERO AND RATE AS ZERO

Do not buy a sofa from this company. My mum paid over 2000 cash at london rd branch only to be delivered wrong colour of sofa. Representative from dfs visited to see colour and stated sofa is colour on order form. This may be the case but we picked a swatch of leather that was not listed on order form. Numerous calls later ..visiting store and being told to leave. Rude representatives. The Dfs promise is anything but. My poor mums mental health is now affected. Shocking!!!
