I had an eye appointment at the Upton wirral branch. When I got there I was informed that they had no record of it on there system. I showed her the confirmation reminders on my phone and asked how has this happened. then said I can fit you in next week. Instead she just said oh I have a slot for next week which I would have accepted had she told me she would investigate what’s gone on. When I again asked for an explanation for what had happened she said she didn’t know and that’s the end of it. All I expected was for her to look into what’s happened. She then got up and walked away leaving me standing at the desk. I would have given a lower rating if I could have.

I had hearing test 30 Jan 2024 at Specsavers for new hearing aid. Because I changed audiologist I was required to have new referral from my GP before new H aids could be fitted. After he sent referral Specsavers gave me an appointment but not for hearing aids to be fitted but for another assessment. You couldn't make it up! Rarely do they answer the phone (inundated with HIGH volumes of this that and the other is their excuse) and rarely do they reply to text messages asking for call back. Rough edges at Specsavers need rubbing down before I entertain them again. Have been generous in awarding 1*

Nasty staff.

My daughter was taken on for an apprenticeship: but they decided she wasn't a suitable fit, and my daughter was fine about it.

Today I got a phone call, out of the blue: I was spoken to in a very unpleasant manner: it was one of the Managers, who thought they were speaking to my daughter; she is Autistic/Asperger's, and since disclosing her sensory issues was treated very unfairly; the Manager expected me to have picked the phone up straight away: she had a very arrogant, and nasty tone in her voice; she had dialled my number by mistake, but instead of apologizing, she carried on as though she was speaking to something she'd trod in: appalling telephone manners.



We have been customers at the Rhyl branch for over 8 years: all our family wear glasses.



The Opthalmologists are really good: we receive very good service off them, and the prescriptions are always accurate.



I am appalled by how my daughter has been treated, and to receive a phone call that was meant for my daughter, I am glad she doesn't want to train there.

Disgusting Service and Unprofessionalism from Specsavers Sudbury Suffolk
OVER 20 years a customer and never have been dealt with so badly
A combination of Arrogance and Ignorance from 2 people with the empathy of a frozen chicken
Paid over £300 pound for 2 pairs of glasses to be a given cases that looked like they had made by a 5 year old
HUGO BOSS this is the worst design you have ever produced are you now working in consultation with kindergartens?
A Head Office where you cannot speak to complaints
THINK VERY CAREFULLY YOU SPEND YOUR HARD EARN’T MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY
CUSTOMER SERVICE and PROFFESIONALISM are way down their list of priorities
people live in the REAL WORLD I don't have a Hermes bag to put this in whilst I lunch or Shop- TOO BUSY WORKING TO PAY YOUR PRICES

I go to SpecSavers Victoria London and can report excellent service. Since I am very dependant on my glasses I have bought back up copies and always receive excellent service both in the eye examination and subsequent choice of frames. I go to Victoria since I often stay in London and find this more convenient though in the past I have also received excellent service elsewhere, always by SpecSavers. I speak as I find.

Today, I visited the Ayr branch of Specsavers to collect my glasses. This is the 3rd time I have been and twice to change the frames that weren't quite right. The second occasion I was seen by a girl obviously of asian heritage as she was wearing a hijab. She didn't say much and I wondered if she understood what I was saying. Well, obviously not as today when I went to pick up my glasses, the chap bought out the same frames as my last ones and not the new ones that I expected to get. This is beyond a joke as I have to travel some 8 miles into town. I have been assured that the correct frames with correct prescription will be couriered to me asap. Whilst on the subject, twice I have booked a home visit for my husband, the 1st time no show and now phone call, and when I phoned them they had no record of my booking. What is this country coming too??

I visit your Bournemouth town branch on Old Chirstchurch Rd on the 12th July 2022. Whilst waiting a dark hair lady who I think was a supervisor?! I witnessed her bullying and belittling a young lady. This young lady looked like she was learning to do things. I felt for this girl as she looked like she was going to brust into tears. I thought bullying in the workplace was outdated by now! But not at spec savers! This dark haired lady was also on her phone constantly. This is completely unacceptable behaviour in a professional work place.I will be making sure that I take my business elsewhere and recommend my family will too. I complaint via your chat service and was told a transcript would be passed on to the manager. Nobody has bothered to contact me to tell me my complaint has been dealt with. What a shambles.

I am writing to inform the Head office manager of The Specsavers Opticians based in Bayswater, London, about an employee. In February 2008, an employee described as a male, euro origin, medium quite slim built, medium length hair, wore a suitable clothing and shoes, possibly aged between 30-40 years, optical assistant/other, seen at the desk area. He created a rude remark against a customer seen instore, as, she made a joke about the style of spectacles worn by looking into a mirror. The customer, got angry with the employee. An apology from the customer was sent by text message to the head office of the company, within weeks. Please could you check into this person and the employees seen at the front desk of the Kilburn Branch, between 2000-2008, immediately. customer
