I feel the company need to review its access policy towards deaf customers.
It need to review how Vision Express customer services better their communicate skills for a resolution. The love of email pushing is not a resolution but for an outcome.
I feel the company need to revisit the Equality Act as the service provider.
That Vision Express CEO need to revisit his work listening to this feedback and to give a decent reply on this website since this lack of reply shows lack integrity good quality customer services.
I need a sign language communication support to attend appointment and they are hopeless at coordinating it.
Shop floor staff have low level deaf awareness

Negligent in their examinations and then a complete lack of interest in following through my complaint. Fortunately it was not a condition that worsened over time so I still have some sight. Store manager and HO have failed to ever get back to me

Dear Sirs,



I had an unfortunate accident with my glasses, left them on the floor, fortunately I had my previous pair from Vision Express - Surrey Quays, so I called and made an appointment for Aftercare.

When I arrived and spoke to the lovely lady working there, I explained the situation and she advised me to find a suitable pair to keep my Variable Focus lens and replace the frame.

As I went to find a new pair within minutes the kind assistant had manage to remedy the situation and repair my glasses in store for as good as new.

I was beyond ecstatic, with the times we are in now, finance is scarce and to have my read and driving glasses is essential.

The night before my appointment I had mentioned to a friend I was going to Surrey Quays Vision Express and they immediately asked why I travel so far when there are many (local) opticians which are closer - THIS IS WHY!!

The staff are always extremely busy, but ALWAYS very courteous, friendly and professional, the branch is located inside a very busy Superstore and I am always astounded at how they manage to cope with so many Customers yet maintain calm.

The assistant that day really made my day and dare I say it year!! I have been a Customer of theirs for I think a decade now and shall continue to always return there for all my optical requirements.

So therefore please thank the lovely lady for her professional and kind assistance and know you have a customer for life!!

since December 2020, I have received several text messages from this company reminding me to book an eye test. eventually in February I gave in to a message received on the 14th, it read "Hi Michael, it is a long time since we saw you for your eye test and it is now overdue. when I arrived I was told that I did not need an eye test and wasn't actually due until November, so did I want to wait or cancel. I cancelled. what a waste of time and to add to this I had to travel more than 5 miles to have what I thought was an essential journey. according to the optical assistant who dealt with me, this was happening a lot and they had told head office. so why are vision express encouraging none essential journeys during lockdown.

Today, even though I requested staff to wear masks, the Optician said it was OK

because he wore one i was safe, persistently wore it mostly below his nose, and neither covering his nose or mouth. I had to insist that if HE did not wear a mask, then I would. I was required to sit in the reception area not wearing my mask for far longer than strictly necessary. At least the dispensing optician WAS wearing a mask.

I have been examined for my eyes at Hayes Bulls bridge, two months ago, been charged a lot, with my ones frames ¬£ 370.00, the team member didn't know how to use the computer, no explanation at all, her behaviour unexpected, I will give a Rating 3 for the service, i will never go there again ūüė®

A company that professes to sell glasses is singularly incapable, repeatedly, of taking a customers money and providing them with a pair of glasses.



What part of this complete shower is vision or express.

9/9/2021 I booked an early appointment for my mother who is 99 years old to have her eye test in your branch The Fort Birmingham, they started to check her eye pressure, they tried 3 times with different members of staff but then they said the machine is not working. then we moved to another room and they tried a different machine with her but then they said the batteries of the machine are too low, so my mother started to feel tired and I told them that I have booked this appointment more than a month now and I have explained how old is my mother and will be hard for her to come during the pandamic and wasting her time. they said no, the machine is working, but I heard them saying the same thing about the machine to another client!!! I am really disappointed.

Received speedy, thorough, professional service on my visit to Vision Express, Carlisle on Monday, 25.10.2021. In particular, the optometrist (named Umar) was most helpful and his advice/guidance very much appreciated.l
